Our Mission
To bring to light the achievements of human rights visionaries such as Raoul Wallenberg, Per Anger, Inger Ganz Koppel, Carl Lutz and others who saved thousands of innocent lives during WW2, and to build awareness of human rights advocates in other genocides and oppressions worldwide.
To inspire new generations of human rights defenders to fight against intolerance and discrimination, and build a world where human dignity, equality, freedom, democracy and respect for all human rights are realized.

We are a group of volunteers who started OVED For Human Rights a couple of years ago as a “hobby” to counter Antisemitism and hate, based on race,

OUR VISION
Our vision is to improve understanding and acceptance between peoples and communities, irrespective of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, age, ability, gender or sexual orientation.
1. To advocate for human rights using education, collaboration, and strategic partnerships with international organizations and diverse communities to deliver information and provide education.
2. To bring the stories of human rights advocates to light and to preserve them for future generations using tools such as documentary filmmaking, storytelling and interviews with human rights activists and survivors.
3. To increase knowledge and empower young people to stand up for human rights and act with civil courage in preventing future human rights abuses and genocides.
OUR VALUES
1. Human rights advocacy
We believe in the inherent dignity of every person, irrespective of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, age, ability, gender or sexual orientation. We empower individuals to advocate for their human rights and strengthen the global promotion of human rights and democracy worldwide.
2. Knowledge preservation
We believe that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. We are committed to preserving history and its lessons through recorded interviews with Holocaust and genocide survivors, Indigenous residential school survivors, and human rights advocates across racial, ethnic, religious, and generational divides.
3. Inspiring humanity
We believe that by bringing awareness of courageous individuals who changed the world for the better, we can inspire future generations to follow their example, to rise above adversity and empower others to fight discrimination and defend human rights with courage and purpose.
