Who We Are

We are a group of dedicated Volunteers educating future generations to safeguard universal human rights.

OUR MISSION

To bring to light the achievements of human rights visionaries such as Raoul Wallenberg, Per Anger, Inger Ganz Koppel, Carl Lutz and others who saved thousands of innocent lives during WW2, and to build awareness of human rights advocates in other genocides and oppressions worldwide.

To inspire new generations of human rights defenders to fight against intolerance and discrimination, and build a world where human dignity, equality, freedom, democracy and respect for all human rights are realized.

The meaning of OVED: in Hebrew, the word Oved means “Work” – together we Work for Human Rights.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to improve understanding and acceptance between peoples and communities, irrespective of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, age, ability, gender or sexual orientation.

1. To advocate for human rights using education, collaboration, and strategic partnerships with international organizations and diverse communities to deliver information and provide education

2. To bring the stories of human rights advocates to light and to preserve them for future generations

3. To increase knowledge and empower people to stand up for human rights and act with civil courage in preventing future rights abuses and genocides.
