George Preger, CEO is delighted to welcome Cecilia Åhlberg as OVED for Human Rights Honorary co-Chair.
Cecilia, a key member of Raoul Wallenberg’s family, is the granddaughter of Nina Lagergren, who was Raoul Wallenberg’s half-sister. Nina, Cecilia and the Swedish diplomat Per Anger have worked tirelessly to uncover the truth about Raoul’s fate at the hands of the Soviet Union.
Cecilia is the Raul Wallenberg Academy’s lead in educating youth and young people in how to integrate human rights into their everyday lives.
